Psychological Support

  • Mutlu Yuva Association employs psychologists and social workers who are experts in their fields. These professionals carry out therapeutic activities to help children erase the traces of the traumas they have experienced in the past and become individuals who are at peace with themselves and society and add value to life.
  • The psychological, mental, and developmental status of our children is determined with measurement and evaluation tools, and play therapy, art therapy, EMDR, CBT  and psychodrama methods are applied as a result of the evaluation. Children are referred to specialists for psychiatric support when needed.

'Mutlu Yuva' Association was established in 2010 in order to meet all kinds of material and spiritual needs of orphaned children and children in need of protection in a loving home. It conducts its activities within the framework of the co-operation protocol with the Ministry of Family and Social Services. As of 2023, it continues to serve around 700 children in 140 children's homes in 6 provinces, namely Istanbul, Bursa, Ankara, Yozgat, Şanlıurfa and Diyarbakır, which have independent administrations, and more than a thousand children have been reached so far.
